We are Ocasta
We’re a curious, friendly bunch who care about helping teams stop guessing and start knowing. We create everything in house, with our team including developers to designers, customer success to content — we all share one goal: giving frontline teams the knowledge and insight they need to perform their best, every day.
Our values

Beyond
We go above and beyond — for our customers, our team, and our work.
- We anticipate customer needs and strive to exceed expectations, building strong, lasting relationships.
- We step up when it matters, whether it’s supporting key deployments, resolving issues promptly, or helping a teammate under pressure.
- We are proactive problem-solvers, always seeking the best outcomes — not just the easiest solutions.
- We care deeply, not just about our work, but about making a positive impact beyond our immediate responsibilities. This includes supporting global causes like Capsule for Ukraine and ensuring our team is rewarded fairly.

People First
We care about each other and create a culture where everyone feels supported, valued, and free to be themselves.
- We support each other through challenges, celebrating successes and learning from setbacks as a team.
- We treat each other with respect, fairness, and decency, ensuring every voice is heard.
- We offer flexibility and encourage personal growth — people can adapt their roles and explore new paths.
- We succeed together, promoting collaboration, open debate, and teamwork. Everyone’s input matters.

Open
We are open, transparent, and driven by honest conversations.
- We empower individuals to shape their roles and grow beyond their skillset — for example, someone might start in customer support and transition into product development based on their interests and strengths.
- We share information openly so that everyone understands what’s happening across the company.
- We listen to our customers and each other, ensuring every perspective is respected.
- We welcome feedback, ideas, and challenges — both internally and externally. The best solutions come from diverse viewpoints.
Our leadership team

Ben Collier
Growth & Customer Director
Ben’s experienced at launching mobile apps, a published author and has a background in development. He’s responsible for our growth and our customers. When he’s not pushing Ocasta forward, you’ll find Ben at theme parks, eating tofu or watching fireworks.

Ed Moore
Product & Finance Director
Ed keeps us running smoothly, watching our finances and developing new business opportunities. The former CTO of Carphone Warehouse, he’s been mobile for some time. Outside of work Ed can be found wondering what Hugo his Dachshund is thinking about – most likely food and chasing squirrels.

Viktoria Webber
Delivery Director
Viktoria makes sure our projects are always on track, with her own experience as a technical consultant and developer nothing gets past her beady eye. She enjoys taking the family for a dog walk across the Downs. But keep up, she doesn’t like to walk slowly.

Martin Higham
Technical Director
Along with Ben, Steve and Ed, Martin founded Ocasta in 2011. Martin brings extensive experience in building software to our development team. He is also a keen mountain biker and coffee drinker.

Steve Liddell
Creative Director
The creative director and chief tea drinker. Steve fiddles with pixels with one hand whilst dunking biscuits with the other.
Our in-house team

Alamsher Tiwana
PHP Developer
Alamsher’s a developer with a soft spot for biryani, pyjamas, and The Office. He’s dreaming of CakePHP superpowers — and firmly anti chocolate-flavoured anything (just give him real chocolate).

Alex Gale
Front End Developer
A self-starter developer, Alex writes code for our native apps. When he’s not creating React hooks, he can be found using crochet hooks to make small animals and playing his guitar.

Freyja Nash
Full Stack Developer
Jack of trades, master of web. After years of making web apps she now looks after our servers too. With a degree in Psychology to boot, we wonder if she’ll ever settle down!

Greg Marsh
Senior iOS Developer
The swift exit to iOS developer. Running away from a career as an accountant, Greg switched spreadsheets for Swift. True to his roots, Greg’s code is lean and efficient (but not tax deductible).

Mariya Shiljo
Senior PHP Developer
Mariya excels in crafting innovative solutions. Beyond her technical expertise, she treasures quality time with her family and children. With a knack for PHP development and a heart dedicated to loved ones, she strikes a remarkable balance between work and family, embodying the best of both worlds.

Jim Mackin
Software Engineer
Jim is an experienced software engineer with over a decade of experience in Web Development and has even self-published a niche book. Outside of work, he’s a lapsed judo brown belt, D&D fan and enjoys walks and playing with his two sons, his long-suffering wife and their dog, Hopper.

Megan Bland
Customer Success
When Megan is not running projects you can be sure she’ll being doing something crafty, knitting, textiles or painting and she is even training to be a Silversmith.

Yusuf Yucebudak
Back End Developer
From his degree in computer science (AI) to a career in development, this programming expert is a creative problem solver at heart. When he’s not sharpening our server-side languages you can find him free-diving or practising his skills on wheels from when he was a professional mountain biker.
