SCORM in early access preview

This release opens SCORM support as an early access preview. You can bring existing SCORM 1.2 courses into the Knowledge & Learning hub, so useful training sits alongside the learning your frontline teams already use.

For lots of organisations, good e-learning is already sitting in an LMS. The problem is that traditional learning systems can feel a long way from the working day: another place to log in, and somewhere people tend to visit only when they’ve been assigned a course. We want learning closer to the job.

Bring SCORM courses into Ocasta

Useful training doesn’t have to stay locked away in a separate LMS.

SCORM is a common standard for packaging interactive e-learning so the same course can be used across different learning platforms. If you already have SCORM 1.2 courses, you can now bring them into Ocasta rather than asking people to find them somewhere else.

You can:

  • Bring existing SCORM 1.2 courses into the Knowledge & Learning hub
  • Make them available alongside the knowledge, short learning and other content your teams already use
  • Keep learning in the same frontline experience people open during the working day

That means a compliance course, product walkthrough or skills module can sit next to the answers people need around the job, instead of living in a system they only visit when they’ve been told to.

SCORM is currently in early access while we test it with customers and gather feedback.

If you have existing SCORM courses you’d like to bring into Ocasta, get in touch. We’ll help you bring your courses onto the platform and work with you as the experience takes shape.
