Here’s what’s new this month in Ocasta — from smarter insights, better offline access, and longer, more meaningful kudos messages.

New insight type: Date & time

We’ve added a new insight type to your checklists and observations — Date & Time. You can now capture either a full timestamp or just the date, with the option to auto-fill the current value or enter it manually.

Email notifications for task assignments

You asked, we listened. Task assignees will now get an email for each task assigned when a checklist or observatoins is submitted — making it easier to stay updated when you have tasks to deal with.

Want to enable these for your team? They’re off by default, so drop us a line at support@ocasta.com and we’ll switch them on.

See checklists & observations offline

Your completed checklists and observations and search results are now accessible offline — great for when you’re on the move. Just make sure they’re loaded while you’re online, and they’ll stay available until you log out.

Better international support on the web

Our analytics reports now support even more languages — including Arabic, French, Spanish, Icelandic, and Swedish.

Location import improvements

We’ve made location identifiers more prominent, and required, when creating locations. These unique IDs will power faster, smarter imports in upcoming releases.

Longer kudos messages

Now you’ve got up to 1,000 characters to celebrate your colleagues — enough space to say more than just “great job.”

Clearer CSV export names

Exported CSV files now have more useful, descriptive names, making it easier to find what you’ve downloaded.
